I had no idea the county I live in now (New York County) was so close in population to my birth county (Franklin County, Ohio). I find that amazing even though New York County is loads smaller in area it has only a few hundred thousand more people. I thought it would have many thousands more people. My former county (Kings County, Brooklyn) has more people than New York County and Franklin County combined, that too is nuts. Population like whoa.
